After our second excursion, we headed out again with a different group of people

Scott LeLacheur - Green YJ
Ryan and Ashlyn Connor - White YJ
Dan, Jackson and Josie Peck - Camo CJ5
Virgil and Bradley Moore - Red XJ
Kieth Robertson and his two boys - White JK

After we left camp we ran into the other group and actually added a couple more rigs

Charles Galpin, with one daughter and two friends - Red D90
Chip Woods - Silver TJ
And Jamie (Charles' other daughter) hopped into my Green YJ

We met the other group while on Canyon and then continued to the V-trail.  We moved along effortlessly until the hill climb at the end.  I took the safe (easier) route, but Ryan did not.  That caused Charles to follow him.  That turned out to be a bad choice.  He got stuck and had to bail out.  Then Dan followed him and the same result happened.  Not to be outdone, Virgil was next and made the same choice.  He ended up having to pull cable and taking out his driver's side rear window.  Chip made a good decision to park his TJ.  Keith, did not and followed Virgil.  While he did not have to winch, he did get stuck and had to bail out.  Since it was already pushing 6:30 pm, we all turned around to head back to camp once more.  Oh yea, did I mention it started raining while we were going through all of the recoveries?  We got back to camp and then got to engineer a process to hang Charles' big ole tarp in order to get a fire going and try to
stay half way dry for the night.
