Ryan Connor - White YJ
Suzzy Lewis - Red GMC Pickup
Scott LeLacheur - Green YJ
It was pushing 3:45pm on Sunday, Suzzy, the Connors and I were the only ones left at 'camp'. Ryan made a comment about his last time out at the Cove and having a truck that would not start. With that alas, mine did not want to start, a precursor maybe. We got out of the park, down Rt 50, turned south on Rt 37, did the 13 miles of I-81 South, and got onto I-66 East. About 13 miles in, I got a call from Ryan, and his trailer was jacked up. Both bearings on the right rear of the trailer were melted away. We did find a shop in Front Royal that was willing to leave his family and open his shop on a Sunday afternoon. I will definitely recommend his shop to any one that uses a trailer and might need help on a Friday evening or a Sunday afternoon. We finally got the trailer axle rebuilt, and continued home. Everyone got home SAFELY.
Once again, I would like stress that we not not leave anyone behind. Whether it be on the trail, or on the highway getting home, there is no man, or woman, or child left behind.
