So when Sunday came, there were only a half dozen left wheeling. We had our Saturday group with a couple of additions.
Scott and Suzzy - Green YJ Locked/Locked on 38.5" tires
Chip Woods and Doug - Silver TJ Open/Open on 33" tires
Ryan and Ashlyn Connor - White YJ Locked/Locked on 37" tires
Jeff Eppolite - Green Beta TJ Locked/Locked on 37" tires
Roscoe Primrose - Gold TJ Open/Open on 32" tires
Alan Staiman - Red CJ-7 Locked/Locked on 36" (?) tires
We started out Sunday by doing the Cobra trail so that we could look for Kevin Patterson's knife that he lost on Saturday. We breezed through Cobra until we got to the top where John broke. We then stopped and searched for Kevin's knife. We did not find it. At this point Roscoe was having engine issues, we got him running again. From there we finished Cobra, and then went down Moose to get back to Middle Road. This is were Roscoe went back to camp, good choice not to risk stuff on a Sunday. From there we went to do Trickle. Since it was already after noon, we by-passed the first section. All of Trickle was mundane, and then Ryan used a tree as a can opener to open up the passenger corner of his YJ. In his defense, he was trying to keep the tree away from his daughter. We then finished Trickle and did the whole poser picture at the bottom of K2 (Doug's request). From there we headed back to camp to pack and load up.
All in all, it was another great day in the woods. So far, our newest wheeler, Ashlyn Connor seems to be ready to hit any trail, any time.
